OUR NEXT NOVENA

DIVINE MERCY NOVENA

(Approaching the Fount of Mercy)

Begins: Good Friday - 18/04/2025

Culminates: Divine Mercy Sunday - 27/04/2025

“Jesus, I Trust in You!”

Dear beloved friends in Christ,

As we enter into the holiest days of the liturgical year, I joyfully invite you to join me in a Nine-Day Divine Mercy Novena, beginning on Good Friday and ending on Divine Mercy Sunday a solemn and grace filled journey into the compassionate Heart of Jesus.

The message of Divine Mercy, revealed to St. Faustina Kowalska, flows like a river of healing from the pierced side of Christ. Jesus calls out to all sinners, to all wounded hearts, to all who are weary:

“Let the greatest sinners place their trust in My mercy... Souls that make an appeal to My mercy delight Me.” (Diary, Entry 1146)

Rooted in this invitation, and inspired by the prophetic words of (Micah 7:18-19) this novena offers us a sacred space to:

✅ Reflect deeply on God's infinite mercy.

✅ Pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet daily.

✅ Lift up special daily intentions that bring healing to individuals, families, the Church, and the world.

There is no other god like you, O LORD; you forgive the sins of your people who have survived. You do not stay angry forever, but you take pleasure in showing us your constant love. You will be merciful to us once again. You will trample our sins underfoot and send them to the bottom of the sea! (Micah 7:18-19)

Here are the daily intentions we will be offering together:

Day 1 (Good Friday): For All Mankind, Especially Sinners

Day 2 (Holy Saturday): For the Souls of Priests and Religious

Day 3 (Easter Sunday Vigil): For All Devout and Faithful Souls

Day 4 (Easter Monday): For Those Who Do Not Believe in God and Those Who Do Not Yet Know Him

Day 5 (Easter Tuesday): For Those Who Have Separated Themselves from the Church

Day 6 (Easter Wednesday): For the Meek, Humble, and Innocent, Especially Children

Day 7 (Easter Thursday): For Souls Who Venerate and Glorify God’s Mercy

Day 8 (Easter Friday): For the Souls in Purgatory

Day 9 (Easter Saturday): For Lukewarm and Indifferent Souls

Day 10 (Divine Mercy Sunday): Thanksgiving Day – for Graces Received and the Gift of God’s Mercy

Each day will be an opportunity to meditate, offer intercession, and be drawn into the ocean of mercy that flows from Christ's Heart. Let us unite our hearts in prayer and entrust to Jesus the Church, the suffering, the broken, the forgotten, and even ourselves.

Kindly remember me, in your charitable prayers, and specially this ministry. May the Lord who is rich in mercy guide and sustain us all in love.

NOTE: I will be sharing the novena a day before each intention to help you prepare ahead spiritually.

However, as we enter the Sacred Triduum, I will immerse myself in silence and personal reflection from Holy Thursday night to the Easter Vigil.

Therefore, I will share Day 1 (Good Friday) and Day 2 (Holy Saturday) together ahead of time.

See you again on Easter Saturday night, when I will share Day 3 as we continue walking this sacred journey.

May the mercy of Jesus flow like healing balm into your hearts during these holy days.

Jesus, I trust in You!

Let us pray for one another.

DAY 1
DAY 1

DAY 1 - DIVINE MERCY NOVENA

GOOD FRIDAY - 18/04/2025

PRAYER INTENTION

Pray for All Mankind, Especially Sinners.

Reflect on your own imperfections and the universality of sin.

Pray for the grace of self-awareness and a recognition of areas where you need God's forgiveness.

MEDITATION

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, by the redemption that is in Christ Jesus." — (Romans 3:23-24)

Today bring to me all mankind, especially all sinners, and immerse them in the ocean of my mercy. In this way you will console me in the bitter grief into which the loss of souls plunges me.

On this first day, Jesus invites us to reflect on the vast ocean of His mercy poured out for all mankind especially sinners. None of us is exempt. As St. Paul reminds us: "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by His grace as a gift, by the redemption that is in Christ Jesus." (Romans 3:23-24)

Sin, no matter how hidden or public, leaves wounds in our hearts and distances us from God's love. But today, Jesus is not condemning; rather, He is pleading with us to bring every sinner ourselves included into the embrace of His mercy.

St. Faustina wrote:

"Let no soul fear to draw near to Me, even though its sins be as scarlet." (Diary, 699)

Take a moment to look within. Where do you need God's forgiveness? Which imperfections or failings weigh you down? Today, surrender them all to Jesus. Pray also for others family, friends, even Strangers who might feel lost in sin, that they too may find the courage to trust in His infinite mercy.

Jesus' heart aches for souls. Our prayers console Him.

In the Name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen

I Confess to You

I confess to almighty God and to you, my brothers and sisters, that I have greatly sinned in my thoughts and in my words, in what I have done, and in what I have failed to do; through my fault, through my fault, through my most grievous fault; therefore I ask blessed Mary Ever-Virgin, all the Angels and Saints, and you, my brothers and sisters, to pray for me to the Lord our God. Amen.

Come Holy Spirit

Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created. And You shall renew the face of the earth.

O, God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever enjoy His consolations, Through Christ Our Lord, Amen.

The Lord's Prayer

Our Father, Who art in heaven,

Hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses,

as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you. Blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us Sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Opening prayer

Almighty and eternal God, source of mercy and compassion, you look kindly upon those who sorrow for their sins, and You grant forgiveness to the repentant. We implore You, look with mercy upon us and the whole world. Wash away our sins, cleanse us from our iniquities, and grant us the grace to approach the throne of Your mercy with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Let us pray:

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy itself. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, King of mercy, who with You and the Holy Spirit shows us mercy now and forever. Amen.

Prayer for Embracing All Humanity in God's Mercy.

Most Merciful Jesus, you know my weaknesses and failings more than I do. You see every hidden fault, every moment I fall short and yet, Your mercy is deeper than my sin. Today, I come before You, not in fear, but in trust, bringing my own imperfections and the sins of all humanity to the ocean of Your mercy.

Lord, I ask for the grace to see myself clearly not through the lens of shame, but through the truth of Your compassionate gaze. Heal what is broken within me. Forgive the sins I recognize and the ones I overlook. Draw near to every sinner, every wounded soul, especially those who feel farthest from You.

As You told St. Faustina, “Let no soul fear to draw near to Me, even though its sins be as scarlet.” (Diary, 699) Today, I believe in that promise.

Receive us all into the shelter of Your Most Compassionate Heart. Hold us there, never letting us stray, and pour out Your grace upon the entire world.

Now, united with all those praying this Novena, I offer the prayer You inspired in St. Faustina:

Most Merciful Jesus, whose very nature it is to have compassion on us to forgive us, do not look upon our sins, but upon our trust which we place in Your infinite goodness. Receive us all into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart and never let us escape from it. We beg this of You by Your love which unites You to the Father and the Holy Spirit. Eternal Father, turn Your Merciful gaze upon all mankind and especially upon poor sinners, all enfolded in the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. For the sake of His Sorrowful Passion show us Your Mercy, that we may praise the infinite power of Your Mercy, forever and forever. Amen.

Glory be to the father

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit: As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

DAY 2
DAY 2

DAY 2 - DIVINE MERCY NOVENA

HOLY SATURDAY - 19/04/2025

PRAYER INTENTION

Pray for the Souls of Priests and Religious.

We acknowledge the unique challenges faced by priests and religious as they strive to serve God and His people.

We implore God's boundless mercy to envelop them, granting them the grace to persevere in their vocations.

MEDITATION

*“Simon Peter was following Jesus, and so was another disciple… But Peter stood outside at the gate. Then the other disciple, the one known to the high priest, went out and spoke to the woman who guarded the gate and brought Peter in. And the servant-woman who guarded the door said to Peter, “You aren't also one of this man's disciples, are you?” He answered, “I am not.” — (John 18:15-17)

Jesus said: "

Today bring to me the souls of Priests and Religious and immerse them in my unfathomable mercy. It was they who gave me strength to endure my bitter passion. Through them, as though channels, my mercy flows out upon mankind.

Today, we bring before the merciful heart of Jesus all priests and religious, those called to shepherd God’s people and witness His love through their lives. Their journey is marked with unique joys but also with trials, temptations, and moments of weakness. Like Peter, who stood by the fire and denied knowing Jesus (John 18:15-18), they too may face moments of fear, fatigue, or discouragement.

Jesus, in His mercy, does not abandon them. Instead, He offers endless grace and strength to rise again. St. Faustina reminds us of this truth when she writes, "I desire that priests proclaim this great mercy of Mine towards souls of sinners. Let no sinner be afraid to approach Me." (Diary, 50)

Let us intercede for our priests and religious, asking the Lord to guard them from the cold winds of doubt, isolation, or burnout. May His mercy rekindle in them the fire of their first love, the joy of their vocation, and perseverance in every challenge.

“Give Me souls of priests. My daughter, understand that My Heart is most sensitive to the voice of your supplication when you pray for priests.” (Diary, 232)

As we pray today, let us entrust every priest and religious to Divine Mercy, asking God to cover them with His protection and inflame their hearts with His love.

In the Name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen

I Confess to You

Prayer for Priests and Religious Rekindle Their Zeal, O Merciful Lord.

Merciful Jesus, today I come before You with a heart full of gratitude and deep concern for Your chosen Souls the priests and religious.

You Yourself told St. Faustina: "Today bring to Me the souls of Priests and Religious and immerse them in My unfathomable mercy. It was they who gave Me strength to endure My bitter Passion. Through them, as though channels, my mercy flows out upon mankind." (Diary, 1212)

Lord, these faithful servants have dedicated their lives to guiding us, teaching us, and bringing us closer to You. Yet like Peter, who once stood by the fire and denied knowing You out of fear and weakness, they too face moments of trial, discouragement, and fatigue.

I acknowledge their unique burdens temptations to doubt, seasons of loneliness, or even spiritual dryness. In Your mercy, do not let them grow cold by the fire of complacency or fear. Instead, rekindle in them the fire of their first love, the joy of their calling, and the courage to persevere.

Hear my humble voice today, Lord. Strengthen them, shield them, and surround them with Your mercy. Let no temptation, fatigue, or worldly lure dim the light You have placed in their hearts.

Now, united with all those praying this Novena, I offer the prayer You inspired in St. Faustina: Most Merciful Jesus, from whom comes all that is good, increase Your grace in men and women consecrated to Your service, that they perform worthy works of mercy, and that all who see them may glorify the Father of Mercy who is in Heaven. Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the company of chosen ones in Your vineyard upon the souls of Priests and Religious and endow them with the strength of Your Blessing. For the Love of the Heart of Your Son in which they are enfolded, impart to them Your Power and Light, that they may be able to guide others in the way of salvation, and with one voice sing praise to Your boundless Mercy for ages without end. Amen.

Jesus, I trust in You.

Glory be to the father

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit: As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

DAY 3
DAY 3

DAY 3 - DIVINE MERCY NOVENA

20/04/2025

PRAYER INTENTION

Pray for all the Devout and Faithful Souls.

Today bring to Me ALL DEVOUT AND FAITHFUL SOULS and immerse then in the ocean of My mercy. The souls brought Me consolation on the Way of the Cross. They were that drop of consolation in the midst of an ocean of bitterness. Most Merciful Jesus, from the treasury of Your mercy, you impart Your graces in great abundance to each and all. Receive us into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart and never let us escape from It. We beg this grace of You by that most wondrous love for the heavenly Father with which Your Heart burns so fiercely. Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon faithful souls, as upon the inheritance of Your Son. For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, grant them Your blessing and surround them with Your constant protection. Thus, may they never fail in love or lose the treasure of the holy faith, but rather, with all the hosts of Angels and Saints, may they glorify Your boundless mercy for endless ages. Amen.

MEDITATION

“Truly I say to you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for Me.” — (Matthew 25:40)

Jesus said:

“Today bring to Me all devout and faithful souls, and immerse them in the ocean of My mercy. These souls brought Me consolation on the Way of the Cross. They were that drop of consolation in the midst of an ocean of bitterness.”

Today, we bring before the Merciful Heart of Jesus all devout and faithful souls those who strive to follow Christ with sincerity, love, and perseverance in their daily lives. These are the hidden hearts, the quiet saints among us, who walk the narrow path of holiness, not with noise or acclaim, but with steady devotion.

Their lives, like Simon of Cyrene or Veronica on the Way of the Cross, bring consolation to the suffering Christ. They serve, they intercede, they give without counting the cost. And yet, they too face struggles dryness in prayer, misunderstanding, weariness in doing good.

But Jesus sees. He knows the weight of every hidden sacrifice, the cost of every “yes” spoken in faith. In His Divine Mercy, He gathers these souls close, refreshing them like living water for their parched spirits.

St. Faustina writes:

“These souls shine with a special brightness in Heaven. A stream of love and mercy flows from My Heart for them. They were My comfort on the way to Calvary.” (Diary, 1224)

Let us pray for all devout and faithful souls today those who serve in families, communities, parishes, and the world at large. May Jesus keep their lamps burning, restore their strength, and crown their lives with peace.

“O Jesus, Eternal Truth, strengthen all faithful souls. Shelter them in Your mercy. Make their hearts a dwelling pleasing to You, and never let them fall from Your grace.”

As we offer this day of the Divine Mercy Novena, may our prayers rise like incense for these faithful ones, and may we ourselves be renewed in faithfulness to the God who is ever faithful to us.

Divine Mercy, crown of All Saints, we trust in You.

Divine Mercy, inexhaustible source of miracles, we trust in You.

Lamb of God, who revealed the greatest mercy in redeeming the world by dying on the cross, spare us, O Lord.

Lamb of God, who mercifully offers Yourself for our sake in every holy Mass, graciously hear us, O Lord.

Lamb of God, who takes away our sins with inexhaustible compassion, have mercy on us.

V: The Mercy of God is above all His works.

R: Hence, we will praise The Divine Mercy forever and ever.

Amen.

Prayer for Devout and Faithful Souls

"Crown Them with Your Grace, O Faithful Lord"

Merciful Jesus,Today I kneel before You to lift up with love and honor the devout and faithful souls those who strive daily to walk in Your light, who love You sincerely, and who uphold Your Church through prayer, sacrifice, and steadfast faith.

You said to St. Faustina:

“Today bring to Me all devout and faithful souls, and immerse them in the ocean of My mercy. These souls brought Me consolation on the Way of the Cross. They were that drop of consolation in the midst of an ocean of bitterness.” (Diary, 1214)

Lord, how precious these souls must be to You! In a world so often filled with noise and distraction, their quiet devotion, humble service, and pure love shine like candles before Your altar. Through their lives, your light reaches others.

And yet, even these devoted hearts are not immune to weariness, discouragement, or temptation. They, too, carry silent crosses the struggles no one sees, the battles within, the sacrifices made in secret.

Lord, crown them with Your grace. Reward their hidden faithfulness. Renew their strength when they grow tired, and comfort them in moments of isolation or doubt. Let them never grow weary of doing good, for in Your mercy, their labor is never in vain.

United with all who pray this Novena, I offer the prayer You taught through St. Faustina:

Most Merciful Jesus, from the treasury of Your mercy, You impart Your graces in great abundance to devout and faithful souls. These souls are the living Gospel; their hands are full of deeds of mercy, and their hearts overflow with joy, singing a hymn of love to You, O Lord.
Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon devout and faithful souls, as upon the inheritance of Your Son. By the merits of His sorrowful Passion, grant them Your blessing and surround them with Your constant protection. May they never falter in love or grow cold in spirit but burn always with zeal for Your glory and for the salvation of souls. Amen.

Jesus, I trust in You.

Glory be to the father

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit: As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

DAY 4 - DIVINE MERCY NOVENA

21/04/2025

PRAYER INTENTION

Pray for all THOSE WHO DO NOT BELIEVE IN GOD AND THOSE WHO DO NOT YET KNOW ME.

Today bring to Me Today bring to Me THOSE WHO DO NOT BELIEVE IN GOD AND THOSE WHO DO NOT YET KNOW ME. I was thinking also of them during My bitter Passion, and their future zeal comforted My Heart. Immerse them in the ocean of My mercy. Most compassionate Jesus, you are the Light of the whole world. Receive into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart the souls of those who do not believe in God and of those who as yet do not know You. Let the rays of Your grace enlighten them that they, too, together with us, may extol Your wonderful mercy; and do not let them escape from the abode which is Your Most Compassionate Heart. Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the souls of those who do not believe in You, and of those who as yet do not know You, but who are enclosed in the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. Draw them to the light of the Gospel. These souls do not know what great happiness it is to love You. Grant that they, too, may extol the generosity of Your mercy for endless ages. Amen.

MEDITATION

“Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” — (Luke 23:34)

Jesus said:

“Today bring to Me those who do not believe in God and those who do not yet know Me. I was thinking also of them during My bitter Passion, and their future zeal comforted My Heart. Immerse them in the ocean of My mercy.”

Today, we bring to the Merciful Heart of Jesus all those who do not believe in God and those who do not yet know Him the searching, the doubting, the wandering hearts of the world. These are souls who, through ignorance, pain, pride, or past wounds, have not yet encountered the light of God’s love.

Jesus, in His mercy, has not forgotten them. Even during His Passion, when pain covered His vision, He saw them. He loved them. He longed for their return.

He does not wait with condemnation, but with a heart wide open, ready to embrace them as the Father embraced the prodigal son. He invites us to pray for them not with judgment, but with compassion.

St. Faustina reminds us:

“Today, Jesus said to me: The loss of each soul plunges Me into mortal sadness. You always console Me when you pray for sinners. The prayer most pleasing to Me is the prayer for the conversion of sinners.” (Diary, 1397)

Let us intercede today for those who are far from God whether by choice or by circumstance. May the rays of Divine Mercy pierce through their darkness. May our prayers be like gentle lights guiding them home to the heart of the Father.

"O Jesus, Light of the world, let those who do not know You come to see the beauty of Your face. Let the fire of Your mercy touch their hearts and awaken them to Your love. Do not let them perish, but bring them into Your embrace of grace."

As we pray today, may our hearts reflect God’s longing for all His children to return to Him. And may we ourselves be vessels of mercy to those who seek truth, even unknowingly.

Amen.

Prayer for Those Who Do Not Believe in God or Do Not Yet Know Jesus

"Draw Them Gently, O Merciful Light"

Merciful Jesus, Today I bring before You all those who do not yet know You, and those who, though created in Your image, do not believe in You. In Your boundless compassion, I ask that You draw them gently into the embrace of Your love.

You revealed to St. Faustina:

“Today bring to Me those who do not believe in God and those who do not yet know Me. I was thinking also of them during My bitter Passion, and their future zeal comforted My Heart. Immerse them in the ocean of My mercy.” (Diary, 1216)

Lord, how deep is Your love! Even during Your Passion, your heart was already longing for the souls who had not yet heard Your name or recognized Your voice. In Your divine mercy, you saw not only their ignorance, but the great joy they would bring You once they came to believe.

Today, we plead for these souls our brothers and sisters across the earth whose hearts remain untouched by the flame of faith. Some seek truth but have not yet found You. Others live unaware of Your presence or reject You out of wounds and pain.

Jesus, Light of the World, Shatter the darkness that blinds them. Heal the wounds that keep them distant. Whisper to them through creation, through love, through mercy. Let them encounter You in the lives of believers, in acts of kindness, in moments of stillness. Do not let any soul be lost through lack of knowing You.

Together with all praying this Novena, I offer the prayer inspired by St. Faustina:

Most compassionate Jesus, you are the Light of the whole world. Receive into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart the souls of those who do not believe in God and those who do not yet know You. May the rays of Your grace enlighten them, that they, too, together with us, may extol Your wonderful mercy.

DAY 5 - DIVINE MERCY NOVENA

22/04/2025

PRAYER INTENTION

Pray for all THE SOULS OF THOSE WHO HAVE SEPARATED THEMSELVES FROM MY CHURCH and immerse them in the ocean of My mercy.

Today bring to Me THE SOULS OF THOSE WHO HAVE SEPARATED THEMSELVES FROM MY CHURCH and immerse them in the ocean of My mercy. During My bitter Passion they tore at My Body and Heart, that is, My Church. As they return to unity with the Church, My wounds heal and in this way they alleviate My Passion. Most Merciful Jesus, Goodness Itself, You do not refuse light to those who seek it of You. Receive into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart the souls of those who have separated themselves from Your Church. Draw them by Your light into the unity of the Church, and do not let them escape from the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart; but bring it about that they, too, come to glorify the generosity of Your mercy. Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the souls of those who have separated themselves from Your Son’s Church, who have squandered Your blessings and misused Your graces by obstinately persisting in their errors. Do not look upon their errors, but upon the love of Your own Son and upon His bitter Passion, which He underwent for their sake, since they, too, are enclosed in His Most Compassionate Heart. Bring it about that they also may glorify Your great mercy for endless ages. Amen.

MEDITATION

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — (Matthew 11:28)

Jesus said:

“Today bring to Me the souls of those who have separated themselves from My Church. During My bitter Passion they tore at My Body and Heart, that is, My Church. As they return to unity with the Church, my wounds heal and in this way, they alleviate My Passion.”

Today, we bring before the Merciful Heart of Jesus all souls who have separated themselves from His Church those who have turned away, drifted, or become wounded and estranged from the Body of Christ.

These are not strangers to God. They are His beloved sons and daughters, each one known by name, each one deeply missed. Though they may have walked away, Jesus has never stopped pursuing them with mercy and tenderness.

Like the Good Shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to seek the one lost sheep, He searches for them not with wrath, but with longing. He knows the hurt that led them away and the healing they need to return. He calls them back not with guilt, but with grace.

St. Faustina reveals the heart of Jesus when she writes:

“You must not become discouraged by ingratitude. No act of love dies in the abyss of oblivion. God sees everything.” (Diary, 400)

Let us pray today for those who once knew the Church and have walked away those who were hurt, confused, or seduced by the world. Let us cry out to the Divine Mercy for reconciliation, healing, and unity.

“O Jesus, Good Shepherd, gather again into Your fold all who have strayed from the Church. Touch their hearts with the warmth of Your love. Heal what has been broken. Rekindle the flame of faith within them, and draw them back into the embrace of Your Body, the Church.”

As we offer today’s prayer, may we become instruments of reconciliation, welcoming hearts back with compassion, humility, and love. For when one soul returns, Heaven rejoices.

Prayer for Those Who Have Separated Themselves from the Church

“Bring Them Back, O Gentle Shepherd”

Merciful Jesus, Today I come before You with a heavy heart, thinking of those who have wandered far from the fold of Your Church those who once knew Your love but now live at a distance, those who have separated themselves from the grace and truth found in Your Body, the Church.

You spoke to St. Faustina with tenderness:

“Today bring to Me the souls of those who have separated themselves from My Church and immerse them in the ocean of My mercy. During My bitter Passion they tore at My Body and Heart, that is, My Church. As they return to unity with the Church, My wounds heal, and in this way, they alleviate My Passion.” (Diary, 1218)

Lord, Your mercy is boundless and patient. You do not reject or forget any soul. Even when we are unfaithful, You remain faithful. In Your Sacred Heart, there is room for all, and Your arms are always open, waiting to welcome back the lost and broken.

Today, we lift up those who have drifted away whether through hurt, confusion, pride, or neglect. Some left because they were wounded by others. Some sought fulfillments elsewhere. Some do not even realize how much they are missed.

O Gentle Shepherd, Call them by name once more. Heal their wounds. Break down walls of division. Let the fragrance of Your love lead them home to the safety of Your truth and the peace of the Sacraments. May Your mercy be the bridge that reconnects them to the Church, Your Body.

United with the hearts of all praying this Novena, I offer the prayer from St. Faustina’s Diary:

Most Merciful Jesus, Good Shepherd, who do not cease to search for the lost sheep, receive into the shelter of Your Most Compassionate Heart the souls of those who have separated themselves from Your Church. Draw them by Your light into unity with the Church. Do not let them escape from the fountain of mercy but draw them as one with the Body of Christ.
Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the souls who have separated themselves from Your Son’s Church—especially those who have squandered Your blessings and forgotten Your love. Look not upon their errors but upon the wounds of Your Son and the infinite merits of His Passion. May Your mercy triumph and bring them home. Amen.

Jesus, I trust in You.

DAY 6 - DIVINE MERCY NOVENA

23/04/2025

PRAYER INTENTION

Pray for all THE MEEK AND HUMBLE SOULS AND THE SOULS OF LITTLE CHILDREN and immerse them in My mercy.

Today bring to Me THE MEEK AND HUMBLE SOULS AND THE SOULS OF LITTLE CHILDREN and immerse them in My mercy. These souls most closely resemble My Heart. They strengthened Me during My bitter agony. I saw them as earthly Angels, who will keep vigil at My altars. I pour out upon them whole torrents of grace. Only the humble soul is capable of receiving My grace. I favor humble souls with My confidence. Most Merciful Jesus, you yourself have said, “Learn from Me for I am meek and humble of heart.” Receive into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart all meek and humble souls and the souls of little children. These souls send all heaven into ecstasy, and they are the heavenly Father’s favorites. They are a sweet-smelling bouquet before the throne of God; God Himself takes delight in their fragrance. These souls have a permanent abode in Your Most Compassionate Heart, O Jesus, and they unceasingly sing out a hymn of love and mercy. Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon meek souls, upon humble souls, and upon little children who are enfolded in the abode which is the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. These souls bear the closest resemblance to Your Son. Their fragrance rises from the earth and reaches Your very throne. Father of mercy and of all goodness, I beg You by the love You bear these souls and by the delight You take in them: Bless the whole world, that all souls together may sing out the praises of Your mercy for endless ages. Amen.

MEDITATION

“Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.” — (Matthew 5:7)

Jesus said:

“Today bring to Me the meek and humble souls and the souls of little children and immerse them in My mercy. These souls most closely resemble My Heart. They strengthened Me during My bitter agony. I saw them as earthly angels, who would keep vigil at My altars. I pour out upon them whole torrents of grace.”

Today, we bring before the Merciful Heart of Jesus all meek and humble souls and the souls of little children those whose hearts are pure, trusting, and small in the eyes of the world but great in the Kingdom of Heaven.

These are souls who live the Beatitudes quietly and faithfully. They do not seek attention or praise. They walk in gentleness, carry peace, and rely completely on God's goodness. Their humility draws the mercy of God like a magnet.

Jesus tells us that such souls most closely resemble His own Heart. They gave Him comfort during His agony. Their innocence and trust are like sweet incense rising to Heaven, and their prayers pierce the clouds.

St. Faustina shares this tender truth:

“The greater the sinner, the greater the right he has to My mercy… But the soul that is humble and trusting will obtain everything from Me.” (Diary, 723)

Let us pray today especially for children and all who embody meekness and humility in our world—those who suffer silently, serve joyfully, and love sincerely. May they be protected from harm, nourished in grace, and cherished by the Church and the world.

“O Jesus, Lamb of God, you said, ‘Learn from Me, for I am meek and humble of heart.’ Pour out Your mercy upon all humble souls and children. Guard their innocence, bless their simplicity, and raise up among them saints who will be light to the world.”

As we meditate today, may we learn from the little ones to trust, to love simply, and to walk humbly with our God. In their footsteps, we find the true path to the Heart of Jesus.

Prayer for the Meek, the Humble, and the Souls of Little Children

“Shelter Them in Your Innocence, O Gentle Savior”

Merciful Jesus,Today, with a heart full of reverence and awe, I bring before You the meek, the humble, and the pure-hearted souls of little children. These are the ones who reflect the simplicity of Heaven and the beauty of trust. In them, You delight. Through them, Your mercy shines most clearly.

You said to St. Faustina:

“Today bring to Me the meek and humble souls and the souls of little children and immerse them in My mercy. These souls most closely resemble My Heart. They strengthened Me during My bitter agony. I saw them as earthly angels, who will keep vigil at My altars. I pour out upon them whole torrents of grace. I favor humble souls with My confidence.” (Diary, 1220)

Lord, your own words reveal how precious these souls are to You. In a world driven by pride and noise, they walk quietly, seeking no glory only You. In their humility, they are strong. In their littleness, they are great in Your sight.

Jesus, Friend of the lowly, Protect the hearts of children from the corruption of the world. Let their innocence be preserved. May the humble find joy in their hidden sacrifices, and may the meek inherit the earth as You have promised. Let them not grow weary or be crushed by the arrogance of others, but instead be lifted high by Your love.

And we, too, Lord, ask for a share in their humility. Teach us to walk softly, to trust deeply, and to love simply like a child in the arms of a parent.

Now, united with all praying this Novena, I offer the prayer taught through St. Faustina:

Most Merciful Jesus, You Yourself have said, “Learn from Me for I am meek and humble of heart.” Receive into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart all meek and humble souls and the souls of little children. These souls send all Heaven into ecstasy and are the delight of the Heavenly Father. They are the sweet fragrance before Your throne. O Jesus, keep them always within Your Heart, for it is they who most closely resemble You.
Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon meek and humble souls and upon the souls of little children, who are enfolded in the abode of the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. These souls bear the closest resemblance to Your Son. Their fragrance rises from the earth and reaches Your very throne. Father of mercy and of all goodness, I beg You by the love You bear these souls and by the delight You take in them: bless the whole world, that all souls may join in singing the praises of Your mercy for endless ages. Amen.

Jesus, I trust in You.

DAY 7

DAY 7 - DIVINE MERCY NOVENA

24/04/2025

PRAYER INTENTION

Pray for all THE SOULS WHO ESPECIALLY VENERATE AND GLORIFY MY MERCY and immerse them in My mercy.

Today bring to Me THE SOULS WHO ESPECIALLY VENERATE AND GLORIFY MY MERCY and immerse them in My mercy. These souls sorrowed most over my Passion and entered most deeply into My spirit. They are living images of My Compassionate Heart. These souls will shine with a special brightness in the next life. Not one of them will go into the fire of hell. I shall particularly defend each one of them at the hour of death. Most Merciful Jesus, whose Heart is Love Itself, receive into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart the souls of those who particularly extol and venerate the greatness of Your mercy. These souls are mighty with the very power of God Himself. In the midst of all afflictions and adversities they go forward, confident of Your mercy; and united to You, O Jesus, they carry all mankind on their shoulders. These souls will not be judged severely, but Your mercy will embrace them as they depart from this life. Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the souls who glorify and venerate Your greatest attribute, that of Your fathomless mercy, and who are enclosed in the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. These souls are a living Gospel; their hands are full of deeds of mercy, and their hearts, overflowing with joy, sing a canticle of mercy to You, O Most High! I beg You O God: Show them Your mercy according to the hope and trust they have placed in You. Let there be accomplished in them the promise of Jesus, who said to them that during their life, but especially at the hour of death, the souls who will venerate this fathomless mercy of His, He, Himself, will defend as His glory. Amen.

MEDITATION

“Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow.” — (Isaiah 1:18)

Jesus said:

“Today bring to Me the souls who especially venerate and glorify My mercy and immerse them in My mercy. These souls sorrowed most over My Passion and entered most deeply into My spirit. They are living images of My Compassionate Heart. These souls will shine with a special brightness in the next life. Not one of them will go into the fire of hell. I shall particularly defend each one of them at the hour of death.”

Today, we lift up to the Merciful Heart of Jesus all souls who venerate and glorify His mercy those who trust completely in His promises, who proclaim His goodness, and who live with hearts anchored in the power of His love.

These are souls that keep vigil at the foot of the Cross, meditating on the sorrows of Christ not from a distance, but with deep empathy and love. They do not turn away from His wounds; they embrace them. They understand that in His Passion lies our redemption, and in His Mercy lies our hope.

Jesus treasures these souls. He calls them living reflections of His own Heart, and He promises them extraordinary graces protection at the hour of death and eternal joy in Heaven.

St. Faustina writes:

“Souls who spread the honor of My mercy I shield through their entire lives as a tender mother her infant, and at the hour of death, I will not be a Judge for them, but the Merciful Savior.” (Diary, 1075)

Let us pray today for all apostles of Divine Mercy those who trust, proclaim, and live this message with conviction. May we be counted among them. May our lives bear witness to the infinite love of God poured out for every soul.

“O Jesus, Divine Mercy, we glorify You, we adore You, and we trust in You. Let our lives echo Your compassion. Make us beacons of Your mercy in a hurting world. Help us to always proclaim, with our words and actions: ‘Jesus, I trust in You.’”

As we reflect today, may we recommit ourselves to spreading this message of mercy to every heart that needs it and in doing so, become instruments of God's saving grace.

Amen.

Prayer for Those Who Glorify and Trust in Divine Mercy

“Crown Them with Grace, O King of Mercy”

Merciful Jesus, Today I lift up to You with gratitude and love the souls who trust in Your mercy above all else those who honor Your mercy, proclaim it, live it, and extend it to others. They are lights in a world of shadows, and their hearts echo Your own cry of love for souls.

You said to St. Faustina:

“Today bring to Me the souls who especially venerate and glorify My mercy and immerse them in My mercy. These souls sorrowed most over My Passion and entered most deeply into My spirit. They are living images of My Compassionate Heart. These souls will shine with a special brightness in the next life. Not one of them will go into the fire of hell. I shall particularly defend each one of them at the hour of death.” (Diary, 1224)

Lord, how precious these souls are to You. They do not hide from Your wounds they draw near to them with love. They speak of Your mercy when others speak of judgment. They stand firm in faith when others are overcome with fear. They are apostles of Your compassion, and in them, you are greatly pleased.

O Jesus, Fountain of Mercy, Strengthen these faithful souls. Reward their trust. Shield them from discouragement. Let them never grow weary of proclaiming Your mercy in word and deed. Let their witness soften hearts, awaken hope, and lead many into the embrace of Your love.

Let their trust become contagious. Let it spread to every corner of the earth until all people know and glorify the ocean of Your mercy.

Now, in union with all praying this Novena, I offer the words You gave to St. Faustina:

Most Merciful Jesus, whose Heart is love itself, receive into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart the souls of those who especially venerate and glorify the greatness of Your mercy. These souls are mighty with the very power of God Himself. In the midst of all afflictions and adversities, they go forward, confident in Your mercy. These souls are united with Jesus and carry all humanity on their shoulders. They will not be judged harshly but will be embraced with Your mercy in life and especially at death.
Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the souls who glorify and venerate Your greatest attribute Your fathomless mercy. Enfold them in the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. May they radiate Your mercy to all and be specially protected by You in this life and in the hour of death. Amen.

Jesus, I trust in You.

DAY 8 - DIVINE MERCY NOVENA

25/04/2025

PRAYER INTENTION

Pray for all THE SOULS WHO ARE DETAINED IN PURGATORY and immerse them in the abyss of My mercy.

Today bring to Me THE SOULS WHO ARE DETAINED IN PURGATORY and immerse them in the abyss of My mercy. Let the torrents of My Blood cool down their scorching flames. All these souls are greatly loved by Me. They are making retribution to My justice. It is in your power to bring them relief. Draw all the indulgences from the treasury of My Church and offer them on their behalf. Oh, if you only knew the torments they suffer, you would continually offer for them the alms of the spirit and pay off their debt to My justice. Most Merciful Jesus, You Yourself have said that You desire mercy; so I bring into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart the souls in Purgatory, souls who are very dear to You, and yet, who must make retribution to Your justice. May the streams of Blood and Water which gushed forth from Your Heart put out the flames of Purgatory, that there, too, the power of Your mercy may be celebrated. Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the souls suffering in Purgatory, who are enfolded in the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. I beg You, by the sorrowful Passion of Jesus Your Son, and by all the bitterness with which His most sacred Soul was flooded: Manifest Your mercy to the souls who are under Your just scrutiny. Look upon them in no other way but only through the Wounds of Jesus, Your dearly beloved Son; for we firmly believe that there is no limit to Your goodness and compassion. Amen.

MEDITATION

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — (Psalm 34:18)

Jesus said:

“Today bring to Me the souls who are in the prison of Purgatory and immerse them in the abyss of My mercy. Let the torrents of My Blood cool down their scorching flames. All these souls are greatly loved by Me. They are making retribution to My justice. It is in your power to bring them relief. Draw all the indulgences from the treasury of My Church and offer them on their behalf...”

Today, we turn our hearts toward the holy souls in Purgatory those who have departed from this life in God's grace but still undergo purification before entering the fullness of Heaven.

These souls can no longer help themselves. They long for union with God but must be cleansed of the remnants of sin. Yet Jesus, in His infinite mercy, does not forget them. He loves them dearly, and through our prayers, we can bring them comfort, healing, and even release.

In her Diary, St. Faustina writes:

“I saw my guardian angel, who ordered me to follow him. In a moment I was in a misty place full of fire in which there was a great crowd of suffering souls... I prayed fervently for these souls. Jesus said to me, ‘My mercy does not want this, but justice demands it.’” (Diary, 20)

Let us be their voice today. Let us intercede with trust and love, offering sacrifices, indulgences, and heartfelt prayers for their liberation. Every act of mercy we offer on their behalf becomes a river of hope flowing into eternity.

“O Jesus, compassionate Savior, have mercy on the souls in Purgatory. By the merits of Your sorrowful Passion, grant them refreshment, peace, and the joy of Heaven. May our prayers hasten their journey into Your glorious presence.”

As we meditate today, may we also remember the power of mercy to transcend even death, drawing heaven and earth closer in the communion of saints.

In the Name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen

Prayer for the Souls in Purgatory

“Draw Them into the Light of Your Mercy, O God of Compassion”

Merciful Jesus, Today my heart turns to those souls who are often forgotten the holy souls in purgatory, waiting, longing, and yearning for the full embrace of Your glory. They trusted in You in life, and now they trust in You still as they undergo purification. In Your mercy, do not delay their joy.

You said to St. Faustina:

“Today bring to Me the souls who are in the prison of Purgatory and immerse them in the abyss of My mercy. Let the torrents of My Blood cool down their scorching flames. All these souls are greatly loved by Me. They are making retribution to My justice. It is in Your power to bring them relief. Draw all the indulgences from the treasury of My Church and offer them on their behalf... Oh, if you only knew the torments they suffer, you would continually offer for them the alms of the spirit and pay off their debt to My justice!” (Diary, 1226)

Lord, we remember them now our family members, friends, and all the faithful departed. We entrust them to You with hope and affection. May Your mercy, like a healing river, cleanse them of all that still separates them from You. May they soon enter the eternal joy of Heaven and praise Your mercy forever.

Jesus, Savior of Souls,Let not our love stop at the grave. Let our prayers rise like incense on their behalf. Let the Masses, rosaries, sufferings, and acts of charity offered in their memory become bridges to Heaven. May they feel the comfort of our intercession and the warmth of Your promise.

We offer this day’s prayer united with the whole Church and with St. Faustina’s words:

Most Merciful Jesus, You Yourself have said that You desire mercy; so, I bring into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart the souls in purgatory souls who are very dear to You, and yet who must make retribution to Your justice. May the streams of Blood and Water which gushed forth from Your Heart put out the flames of the purifying fire, that in that place too the power of Your mercy may be praised.
Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the souls suffering in purgatory, who are enfolded in the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. I beg You, by the sorrowful Passion of Your Son and by all the bitterness with which His most sacred Soul was flooded, show mercy to the souls who are under Your just scrutiny. Look upon them not through the eyes of justice but through the eyes of mercy, so they too may glorify Your mercy for endless ages. Amen.

Jesus, I trust in You.

DAY 9 - DIVINE MERCY NOVENA

26/04/2025

PRAYER INTENTION

Pray for all the SOULS WHO HAVE BECOME LUKEWARM and immerse them in the abyss of My mercy.

Today bring to Me SOULS WHO HAVE BECOME LUKEWARM and immerse them in the abyss of My mercy. These souls wound My Heart most painfully. My soul suffered the most dreadful loathing in the Garden of Olives because of lukewarm souls. They were the reason I cried out: ‘Father, take this cup away from Me, if it be Your will.’ For them, the last hope of salvation is to run to My mercy. Most compassionate Jesus, You are Compassion Itself. I bring lukewarm souls into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart. In this fire of Your pure love, let these tepid souls, who, like corpses, filled You with such deep loathing, be once again set aflame. O Most Compassionate Jesus, exercise the omnipotence of Your mercy and draw them into the very ardor of Your love, and bestow upon them the gift of holy love, for nothing is beyond Your power. Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon lukewarm souls who are nonetheless enfolded in the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. Father of Mercy, I beg You by the bitter Passion of Your Son and by His three-hour agony on the Cross: Let them, too, glorify the abyss of Your mercy. Amen.

MEDITATION

“Even now,” declares the Lord, “return to Me with all your heart… for I am gracious and merciful, slow to anger, abounding in love.” — (Joel 2:12-13)

Jesus said:

“Today bring to Me the souls who have become lukewarm and immerse them in the abyss of My mercy. These souls wound My Heart most painfully. My soul suffered the most dreadful loathing in the Garden of Olives because of lukewarm souls. They were the reason I cried out: ‘Father, take this cup away from Me, if it be Your will.’ For them, the last hope of salvation is to flee to My mercy.”

Today, on the final day of the Divine Mercy Novena, we bring before the Lord the lukewarm souls those who are indifferent, spiritually weary, or distant from God's love.

These are the souls that neither burn with zeal nor openly reject God. Their hearts have grown cold or complacent, often without realizing it. And yet, these are the ones who wounded Jesus the most during His agony in Gethsemane not by great evil, but by silent indifference.

But even here, His mercy is deeper still. He longs to awaken them, to rekindle in them a flame of love, and to restore their hearts to life. His Divine Mercy remains their greatest and final refuge.

St. Faustina writes:

“These souls cause My soul more suffering than the pains of My Passion. It would be less painful to Me if they were cold or hot.” (Diary, 1702)

Let us pray for all those who have grown lukewarm in faith those who have lost their way, those who feel numb, and even those among us who silently struggle with dryness or disillusionment. May the fire of Divine Mercy reach into the coldest corners and revive what has grown dim.

“O Jesus, full of compassion, You never tire of seeking the lost. Ignite in every lukewarm soul the fire of Your love. Stir the embers of forgotten faith. Draw them once more into Your embrace of mercy and transform their apathy into passion for You.”

As this novena concludes, may our hearts be inflamed with mercy not only for ourselves, but for every soul. May we carry the light of Divine Mercy into the world, becoming living witnesses of God's unfathomable love.

Amen.

We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Prayer for Lukewarm Souls

“Set Their Hearts Ablaze, O Lord of Mercy”

Merciful Jesus, Today, on the final day of this Novena, I bring before You the souls most in need of Your mercy the lukewarm, indifferent, and spiritually weary. You once said these are the souls that wound Your Heart the most, for they are neither hot nor cold. They remain unmoved even before the fire of Your love.

To St. Faustina, you revealed this deep sorrow:

“Today bring to Me the souls who have become lukewarm and immerse them in the abyss of My mercy. These souls wound My Heart most painfully. My soul suffered the most dreadful loathing in the Garden of Olives because of lukewarm souls. They were the reason I cried out: ‘Father, take this cup away from Me, if it be Your will.’ For them, the last hope of salvation is to flee to My mercy.” (Diary, 1228)

Lord, how painful it must be to offer love and receive indifference. But You never abandon even those whose hearts have grown cold. Your mercy waits patiently at the door, knocking, longing to be let in.

Jesus, Flame of Love, Touch the hearts of the lukewarm. Awaken them with Your Spirit. Remove the fog of apathy, pride, or distraction that blinds them to Your beauty. Ignite in them a hunger for Your presence and restore the fire of their first love.

I pray especially for those who once walked closely with You but now drift far away, unaware of their need. Let this final day of the Novena be a spark of grace for them—a new beginning in Your love.

With faith and urgency, I now offer the prayer You gave to St. Faustina:

Most Compassionate Jesus, you are Compassion itself. I bring lukewarm souls into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart. In this fire of Your pure love, let these tepid souls who, like corpses, filled You with such deep loathing in the Garden of Olives, be once again set aflame. O Most Compassionate Jesus, exercise the omnipotence of Your mercy and draw them into the very ardor of Your love, and bestow upon them the gift of holy zeal, for nothing is beyond Your power.
Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon lukewarm souls, who are nonetheless enfolded in the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. Father of Mercy, I beg You by the sorrowful Passion of Your Son and by His three-hour agony on the Cross, let them also glorify the abyss of Your mercy. Amen.

Jesus, I trust in You.

Glory be to the father

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit: As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen
